Pretty much exactly a year ago we went to the Nature Trail in Effingham and were really surprised how nice it is, so this year we tried to repeat that day.
Lot less water because of the drought they have here...
...and the observation deck is new...
...but otherwise nothing changed and daughter, just like any little midwestern girl in a 100 degrees heat wave would, went and got herself a ton of ice-cream afterwards. If you want to see the most variety of Haagen-Dazs and Ben and Jerry's ice cream, make sure you hit the Walmart in Effingham!
